In
collaboration with Manor Architectural Ceramics, Warwick (see
www.manorceramics.co.uk),
I create tiles of unusual design, applicable to both public
and private commissions. Designs are permanently fired on to
the surface. |
Past examples of my previous work, designed in a boldly decorative
Victorian style, are shown below, but if you can’t find the
design you want, I can create one for you. Colours and borders can
be easily substituted if you would like to use existing designs.
N.B. My botanical and natural history drawings and paintings can
also be reproduced on tiles or a ceramic surface.
Prices are as follows:
Single tile - £12.00
Small plate - £25.00
Large plate - £30.00
Panel (i.e 30 x 10cm² tiles) - £500.00

| Pineapple/Paisley
|
|
|
| The
pineapple, grown by well-to-do Victorians, is used as a motif
alongside a background of paisley, popular in the late 19th
century. *N.B. Several of these panels work well together as
a border. |

Crest |

|
|
The crest shown here is that of the Malet family. *N.B.: I can
redraw crests or coats-of-arms to be used in tile decoration;
as single display tiles, or interspersed with a plain or decorative
background as occasional tiles, they make an attractive feature.

These may be used singly, or alternatively make a very good
border tile. |

Part of a decorative alphabet. A single letter, standing for
the initial of a person’s name, makes an excellent gift,
or several letters can be arranged to form words. |
